Identifying the Opportunity

From the start of our partnership with Rasa, the management team sought to accelerate their organic growth via new branch openings. The company asked for help in prioritizing potential new markets based on size and synergies with existing customers.

Crafting the Solution

We worked with the company to create a customer landscape model that combined Rasa’s customer data with a comprehensive database of all property managers across the US.

This model provided the Rasa management team with the following insights:

  • List of all property managers in the US, ranked by size and geography
  • Number of units managed by existing Rasa customers in new geographies

Results

This model enabled Rasa’s management team to prioritize opening new branches in markets where its existing customers have an outsized local presence. Using the insights gathered from this model, the company has expanded into five new states in less than two years and it continues targeting additional geographies for expansion.
